Reflux reflector lamp

Reflux reflector lamp

Design features

Reflux reflector lamps are distinguished from reflector lamps of other types by the non-axisymmetric outer bulb (that is not a body of revolution), and mirrored part of the bulb inner surface has a special profile. In this case, the plane passing through the edges of the mirror coating is parallel to the axis of the burner and the lamp holder.
The profile of the mirrored part of the bulb, which functions as a reflector, is designed so that the radiation after reflection does not fall back on the burner and other parts of the mirror, thereby providing radiation output after a single reflection, which allows it to obtain a high efficiency of the optical system (about 0.95) and provides a long lamp life. The Reflux reflector lamp has a wide and uniform curve of light intensity. The silver of 99.99 sample, used for mirror sputtering of the reflector, has a maximum reflection coefficient.
Reflux gas discharge reflector lamps are small-dimensioned, highly efficient lamps with a wide light intensity distribution curve, long service life and high stability of parameters during operation.
Simple, light, small-sized luminaires with electromagnetic and electronic ballasts that are successfully used in the polluted environment (street and industrial lighting) as well as where powerful small-dimensioned light sources are needed (greenhouse lighting), have been produced on the basis of the high-pressure Reflux reflector lamps.
A special bulb profile provides:
  • radiation output after a single reflection;
  • highly effective wide light intensity curve;
  • radiation passes the burner and other structural elements;
Compared to traditional light sources, it has small dimensions and higher stability of parameters because the reflector is located inside the lamp and does not lose its properties during operation.
